Meal Planning Monday...

Well, we are moving into a new phase of eating--away from the totally vegan and into some "real food" eating.  Last week was our first week of it and (aside from the grocery tab), it was easier than I thought it would be.

Much more cooking.

Many more dishes to wash.

Pretty tasty foods!

I have headed over to 100 Days of Real Food  for inspiration and menu ideas.

Here is what our meal plan looks like for this week:

Monday:

Breakfast:  Homemade granola and blueberries
Lunch:  Leftovers from last night's dinner (which was pasta)
Snack:  Leftover donuts from Turtle's birthday (yes, I know they are SO not real food--but I'm being REAL, and we're still somewhat celebrating as long as we have Dunkin Donuts in the house, lol!)
Dinner:  Baked Salmon, potatoes and fresh veggies


Tuesday:

Breakfast:  Casserole Bites, strawberries
Lunch:  Smoothie, pretzels
Snack:  Trail Mix

Wednesday:

Breakfast:  Homemade Oatmeal and Pumpkin Muffins
Lunch:  Peanut Butter and Jelly Sandwiches, veggies, applesauce
Snack:  Lara Bars
Dinner:  Stir Fry with Brown Rice

Thursday:

Breakfast:  Homemade granola and strawberries
Lunch:  Sandwiches, pretzels, fruit
Snack:  Veggies and salsa
Dinner:  Leftovers

Friday:

Breakfast:  Smoothies
Lunch:  Finger Foods
Snack:  Trail mix
Dinner:  Homemade pizza

At least, that's what it looks like for now.
